3rd Day : Honda Bay Tour

it's been a week now and still wasn't able to finish my blog regarding our Palawan trip hahaha actually its all because of projects been killing me for a week now :(

Our 3rd day is Honda Bay tour. It's just a 30 minute-mini cab ride from the city to Sta Lourdes Wharf. Boat rent is Php1700for 6 person and Php200 for additional person. (Boat Rent for the whole day wherein we could visit 3-4 islands.)

Starfish Island.
Entrance Fee: php50 per head

It was just a small island but with a very clear water. Our boatman caught 2 starfish for us coz' i didn't see any in the shoreline. My friend told me that there are billions of starfish around the island. Out of curiousity, we asked our boatman to bring us far from the shoreline and let us see those starfish. But i don't know, he was just too scared to bring us far wearing life jackets. hayz.. so sad, didn't see those "billions" of starfish hayzWe just stayed in the area for almost an hour.
Kurdt here, playing the starfish like a steering wheel

Snake Island.

Free Entrance (Yahoo!!)

At first, we are thinking that snake island have lots of snakes! hhahaha silly! it was a long island, that's why it was called "snake island". We took our lunch in this island. There are cottages in the area wherein we could asked someone to grill seafoods. It was past 1pm when they prepared our lunch. We are already starving to death haha nwei, after the main part here..time for feeding fishes and snorkling! Unlike other snorkling sites, in snake island, you could feed and view the fishes just near the shore. Just be ready for your bread, feed the fish and use your gadgets for snorkleand here you go, fishes will come into you. No need to swim too far. It was fun! Kurdt also enjoyed those fishes around him. The worst thing is, he slept while he's swimming with me. He tried very hard not to fall asleep, but it's already past his afternoon nap.
Kurdt and me walking in the long shore of snake island
Pandan Island

Entrance Fee: Php25

We just got off the boat to take some pictures in the island. Its already 4pm and everybody's tired. Our dear kurdt is still sleeping in the boat. I have no pictures to show in here, our camera is empty :(

We are home almost 5pm. We just rented Minicab for 300 bucks that would take us to Lola Itangs Pension.

Dinner: Bilao't Palayok

2nd Day : Underground River Tour

Since the place is far from the City, we decided to get a package tour for the Underground River. It costs us Php1500 per pax with the inclusions ofpacked lunch, van transportation, boat rental and some permit fees needed for the tour. Not bad huh.

At exactly 7am, our tour guide is already in our door to fetch us for the tour. Her name is Anna. She's very nice. she talked a lot and always dropped us a joke. She's very funny. She explained everything about our itinerary, all about her place (Palawan) and about the Underground River that we are bound to.

Our first stop is in Halfway Rest Area, wherein we took some coffee for breakfats. The van ride took us 2 and half hours. We arrived at the Subterranean River NAtional Park almost 10am.

Anna, already fixed our permits and boat. While waiting forturn for the underground tour, my son, Kurdt meet AFP chief general Alexander Yano. He's so fond of my little kiddo. There are reporters, cameramen and bodyguards around us/him. Sikat! haha

The rock images inside the Underground River are amazing! In Kurdt's age, he still didn't appreciate the ride. He got cranky in the middle of the tour. The worst is, he's asking for a milk. His dad didn't want us to prepare his milk inside the cave because of so many bats on top of us. Sticko surely saves us!

Our lunch was prepared in the Taraw beach. The food and place are very relaxing. The 1500 fee for the tour is all worth it!

Dinner: Kinabuchs Grill and Bar

First Day: City Tour

Our first stop to take a quick meal is in Chowking. First thing in mind is to have a decent meal in shortest time. We rented 2 tricycles for our city tour. Not bad for a 500 bucks for us to visit 4 places for our city tour (Mitras House, Baker's hill, Crocodile Farm and Butterfly Farm).

Before, I was thinking that these places were located in just same place. But its not, it took us 10-15 minutes tricycle ride before we reach one place to another. As in malayo sya.

Mitras House

Our first stop for our City tour is Mitra's House. We are wondering if it was a Ranch before because of a huge grass slope thatsorounds the place.Kurdt did enjoy walking and running with his Kuya. He learned one trick in this place "Japan style" when someone took him pictures. It was like a korean pose with the use of the two fingers. He still cant control his fingers,so when you said "japan"before the shot, he will raise his 2 hands with his 4 fingers open. Like below:

Baker's Hill

Our next stop is Baker's Hill. Before, i was thinking that in this place, we could find someone baking or it is just like a place with lot's ofpan or cakes. But it's not. It was like a town house with beautiful park inside. You will find a humansize/lifesize of different cartoon character like snowhite. There are also several in the place but they're not for sale. There is also souvenir shop inside. Kurdt and his cousin loved the seesaw, slides andswing that were located in the park area. It only took us less than 30 minutes for us to know the place and have our pictures taken. So sad that the rain pourthat lead us to our next destination...Crocodile Farm.

Crocodile Farm

Crocodile Farm, this is the most amazing place we've visited so far. An entrance fee of P40 for the tour. They could accomodate guests per batches. We reach the placepast 2pm. We are told that we will be joining the 230pm batch for the tour. We still had the time to pick some keychains for our souvenirs. The tour guide explained how bigthe crocs could be and how they hatches. We are told that the biggest salt water crocodile found in the Philippine area (found in palawan) died due to stress and not becausepeaople killed him (that is the normal thinking of a person). In that place, they hatches baby crocs.. we found close to 500 baby crocs lying around (not sure about the numbers hehe). They also have a wildlife park in the area.

The main story here is my son loved the baby crocodile. We took advantage of the P30 peso fee for a 3 shots with the baby crocs. He's not afraid of it. We took pictures while kurdt hugging and kissing the crocs not thinking that this little creature could bite him or somethin'. He's really a brave boy :) that's our son! haha

See Kurdt? he's really not scared huh

The last stop is the butterfly garden... A fee of P25 peso bucks for the adult and P5 peso for kids. At that time, around 3pm, Kurdt is already fast asleep. Anyway, its also time for his afternoon nap. Kurdt could control his sleep specially if he would really want to play, but this time, because of the fresh air of Palawan, he ended up sleeping in my arms (even he dont want to)when we are on our way to butterfly farm. He was not able to see those beautiful butterflies around.

And the best thing to end the night is to have a dinner in Ka Lui. This would be the highlight for today, same day/night celebrating our 2nd anniv.

Happy 2nd year bebi. Thanks for everything! mwah

Palawan Getaway - Anniversary Special

hahaha what a title! nwei, my husband and I celebrated our 2nd anniversary in Palawan, Puerto Princesa with our family. The itinerary was successful! we are able to do a City Tour on our first day, Underground River on the 2nd, Honda Bay for our island hopping on the 3rd and market shop for souvenirs on our 4th day. Our son, kurdt enjoyed every single day of our trip. I will post several pics for our trip and will make kwento's in the next blog post. So far, our trip to Palawan has been the longest in all of our out of towns. and honestly, this trip is where i enjoyed the most! :)

taken in the airport bound to Palawan

Kurdt here, making "gaya" of what his father is doin'

These two kids started their "blast" of "kakulitan" when we are still in the airport. My son didn't stay in 1 place during our whole trip, not even a second. His behaviour (kulit), tripled when his Kuya's around! Maybe we will think twice if we will still have these two kids together in our next trip :)

I didn't remember myself not scolding and shouting "NO" to these horrible kids always in action! boys will be boys!!!

It's Bowling Time!

The company sportsfest Kick-Off will be next week July 19th (too bad, that day we are in Palawan for our vacation),most of my team mates joined bowling (newbies)Our team decided to practice to play bowling last saturday in Megamall. Meeting time is at 3pm but kurdt and I arrived @ 5pm just in time for our play time. There areongoing tournaments so we need to wait for a free slots. We've been in queue for almost 1 en half hour. Sometimes, it's good to be late hehe.

As far as I remember, the last time i played bowling was when I was in college. hahaha its been a long time, I merely forgot how to use the ball itself ;)After sometime, i got used to it. So bad, i wasn't able to have a strike.

Ofcourse, our little boy is with me. I make sure that even if it's time for me to have some fun with friends, i still have my kiddo. Specially if it's weekene whereinwe called it "Kurdt's Day," since it's the only time we could have our time spent with our boy. While mama is playing, he's also playing ball. But ofcourse, he's just holding those bowling balls. They were just too heavy for him ;)

We only played 2 sets of game. We are tired of laughing with all the bloopers and jokes setting aside the body pain we had (specially for us who played looong time ago). It was fun! I would love to play it again. We will be seeing each other in the company's sportsfest.

Our Flash Grown So Fast...

It was one lazy saturday noon when i found Kurdt's Flash costume in the cabinet. Same costume he wore in last year's trick or treatheld in our office. I was just thinking if it still fits our lil boy who has grown so fast. During that time, he was still very dependent, wasn't able to walk yet and very tamed! hahaha But now, i dont wanna comment much in here, i could just say, kids are kids. They make your days at all times, but you must admit, they could also break your day sometimes :)

Back to my topic here, the costume still fits him. look at him now:

The below pic was taken last year:

Waah i missed my baby boy here.. But i loved my growin' toddler now... :)

It's Tammy's Bday

My husband and I brought our kiddo to attend a jolibee birthday party of my friend's daughter, Tammy. The usual, we are late. We are just came in just in time before they served the food :)This is our son now..

... Our 20th month boy

We are expecting to see the mascot Jolibee, but since the celebrant is a girl, they chose Hetty to be in the party. We are surprised that Kurdt is not afraid of Hetty. He enjoyed watching Hetty dancing and making flirt hehe look at him...

The GXS'ers

Happy BirthDay Tammy!!!!
