Kurdt In Baguio City

It's my mom in law's bday (happy B-day!) so we decided to join them in Baguio City with Kurdt. We left Victory Liner's terminal Friday, April 27, at exactly 11PM.

I was hoping that Kurdt will just stay asleep during our travel and he did! He was so calm and very peaceful sleeping in my arms for the whole trip all the way to Baguio. Though it was damn cold in the bus, im still checking his back every hour coz as i've said, he perspire a lot. Yah, even in a cold place.

We arrived safely in Baguio at 5Am and decided to stay in Venus Park view Hotel right accross the famous Burnham Park. It was freezing cold that morning, so here's how Kurdt look like:

Burnham Park

Around 8 AM, we are done having our breakfast in Burnham Park. Burnham Park features a man-made lake with rowboats for hire, bicycle areas, a children's park, and a skating rink. We chose to hangout in the famous "bangka of burnham" hehe and took some picture as well

Mines View Park

Ofcourse, your stay in Baguio will not be complete if Mines View Park is not in your list to visit. Mines View Park used to boasts of a spectacular view of Benguet and the Cordillera mountains. My comment "ang daming tao! napakasikip!" But still we had our time to take some pictures..

This is my favorite Pic of our lil kiddo

SM Baguio

Ofcourse SM Baguio... It is not that cold @ noon time so we agreed to have our lunch in SM Baguio. "mas maraming tao! Our son did enjoy our stay there.. hehe

Botanical Garden

Also known as the Igorot Village, it showcases the native houses of the different Cordillera tribes. Tourists can usually take pictures with the Igorot tribesmen dressed in their traditional costume. And we did!

Baguio Cathedral

Sunday, Aprril 29, we attend the 10AM mass in Baguio Cathedral. Why 10Am? coz we woke up around 7 or 8AM. It took us much time preparing for our stuff and taking a bath ofcourse!

Pictures heading to Manila

Playing bubbles again.. and again...

Mom and Kurdt... Nag eemote lang...

Kurdt is Learning

Everybody loves to sleep and who'se not??? and i coud say that Kurdt is one of them. He could stay asleep for 10-12 hours during the night. He usually go to bed around 10pm and wokes up around 11am in the morning. When he got his complete rest, he will give back the sweetest smile he could give in greeting him good morning. Even though he cant open his eyes much because of long hours asleep (meaning, namamaga na!) , a smile will appear as if saying his good morning to you. He's more into sleeping sideways, or sometimes he will just cover his eyes. But lately, just saw him holding his right foot during his sleep. look at him: weird

But most of the time, he's into this...

He dont want to be disturbed during this hours. he will definitely cry or sometimes gives you "paawang iyak". You will end up giving him some tap for him to fall asleep again.

Then when he wokes up and nobody's around him, he'll cry. As if he knew that no one is watching over him. And when your sleeping and he woke up, he'll wake you up in different ways.. He'll make a noise, he'll spank you or worst he will kick you with all of his strength... especially when he saw his dad sleeping beside him hehe naughty noh?

If before, he's a bed invader, now, he's the owner of our bed.. He learned to flip over from his back to his tummy and vice versa. He already start rolling over in both directions, but still trying very hard in crawling and when he does expect in just a few minutes, his head is soo wet. He perspire much!

He also loves to eat... In carrying him, make sure you dont have food in your hands. If there is, he will start grabbing it and put it in his mouth. If you will not let him, he will start his "paawang iyak" again hehe i dont know where he learned that trick :)

He also imitates sounds like "dada", baba, tata and shout "mama" a lot! He screams a lot especially when nobody's watching him. It was so easy to make him laugh or smile. Just play Peek a bo0 with him or "bulaga" and he will definitely give a smile back sometimes he will scream or shout happily...

He loves to blow bubbles.. as in madalas sya mag paulan! He stops when we call him and says to him "kurdt, stop".. and then start it again in few seconds. He knows his own name and could recognize me and his dad's presence. haayy soon, we know.. separation anxiety(maghahabol) may begin in a short period.

That's my lil kurdt at 5.. He will be turning 6 at the end of this month.. and that is on monday April 30th, 3 days from now.

And tonight, we will bring our son to Baguio. Hope it will turn out to be a great vacation for him. This will be the longest travel he will be having at 6th.

I cant wait to update my blog when we get home

ciao!

24 Season 6

Just finished viewing the 15 episodes of 24 season 6 that i luckily got from one of my of colleagues. It is not yet complete as of today but im happy anyway. I've been waiting for weeks for my husband to get me a copy of this one but he always forgot (sign of getting old i think haha! kidding babe)

This season reveals all the mystery that was left in season 5 and made me understand whose behind all the attacks for the past season/episodes. Sometimes i just dont know how to understand why some of the characters in there could kill people just for the sake of national security. But I really admire how the character played and the twist of the story really makes my heart beat faster.. Sigh

I will give you some scene that is part of this season that made me shout hehe

This is Fayed using a drill to threaten Moris just to get what they want. It is really striking!

When Martha suddenly stabs former president Charles Logan (her ex husband) because of hate!

Jack braces himself to be killed by his own father like what happen to his brother Gram Bauer.

That was just 3 parts of this season that was sooo thrilling... See for yourself! I swear, this is worth of your time. Im still waiting for the remaining episodes to come.. Im holding my breath and wish that the copy is in his way to me! hehe

For further information, just incase your interested, just drop by at www.24day6.com. You'll surely love this site if your a 24 addict.

happy reading!

Summer @ White Rock, Subic

Maundy Thursday, together with my family, we go out of time to the nearest beach that we know of. We ended up in Subic, White Rock Beach Resort. We arrived at the place before 6 AM. As expected, there are least of people in there. The place is not that crowded and not that cheaper as well hehe. We even seen Black Jack (hope you know him) in there hanging around....

This is the first out of town of our lil boy and we planned to give him some bath in the beach and swimming pool. At first, i dont know if its ok with my lil kurdt to have some bath in a cold water. He even cried the first time he felt the water. Look at him..

But then after a few minutes, we've seen the smile in his face. Especially when we put him in his lil salbabida courtesy of his Lola Ariet. Thank God, the water is not too cold for him.

We had lots of fun in there. Kurdt did enjoy the company of his Lolo Mundo and the rest of the family. He loved to swim. when we let him swim, ofcourse with our support, he tried to paddle his feet. He even cried when we took him off the pool. That is his first time that we let him swim for more that an hour. waahh i hope Kurdt will not get sick after this trip..

I always treasure every single minute we have with our lil Kurdt... even when he's fast asleep.

Ay, dad is sleeping soundly..

I took pictures of his lolo Mundo (my father) with Kurdt. I see to it that this time, my father will enjoy every single moment with his first grandson.

We also took our family pictures! Sinong Kamukha??? NONE..

When the day end, Kurdt just fall asleep in my arm for the rest of our way back home.. He must surely tired for the day.. Well, we just start the summer. I still wish we could go and have some rest from work and bring our lil kiddo somewhere...
