Shop with a Family

Im gonna miss christmas season for sure. Long vacations, gift shopping, greeting friends and mall visits with our kiddo who i think enjoyed the season the most.Love this picture of the cuzins. Christmas Day

We spent our Christmas in our home in Valenzuela. We cooked fave foods ofcourse! We missed mom who always knew what to buy everytime we do the christmas Groceries.It was soo hard when there's someone who planned everything for Christmas. She knew what to cook for Christmas and NewYear. She knew what gifts to prepare and give to who ever it was.Now that we need to do this in our own, we missed her presence in every preparations that we made. Fortunately, we celebrate our Christmas with the whole family, including 1 phone callto our brother in Qatar. It was a pleasant evening as it is.


We started our day, Christmas day, for a visit to my mom. So bad that we haven't have the chance to buy flowers for her. I just promised her to bring one on my birthday ;) Then we took the road all the way to Bulacan to visit my dad in laws boss and also our ninong in our wedding. The cousin's, brent and Kurdt did enjoy playing in the garden.We end the day in Bonifacio High Street wherein the two kids enjoyed walking, playing and scream all over the place.

It's Christmas Time!!!!

Merry Christmas Everybody...

Whew this is my favorite season even though it's also the most tiring ever! I haven't post anything about our kid for more thana month now...but what can i say about him, he's super kulit nowadays.. as in! I can't explain his energy..especially now that he could make steps in his own.but he never failed to amaze us in his new tricks that i didn't know where he learned. He also have his tantrums. I am so tired in the past days that I dont have work to do. I know he misses me and his papa, but mahgad, he always want to be carried by me and do all the chores that concerns him like giving him a bath, play with him taking him in his nap.. everything! He dont wanna go with his yaya. He also love to play taguan as if no one see him. He loves cars, stuff toy (that sing and dance),balls. And most especially, he loves to open gifts.

He started to love Elmo, Mickey and Barney. Thanks to his tita's for all the Disney friends stuff toy they gave ;)

I just remembered how he cried when he saw the Elmo Mini Hockey Pockey while we shop. So he left us no choice but to include that dancing elmo in our list for him this christmas.

Jyla's B-day

Last Saturday, we attended Jyla's 1st bday held at Seaside, Macapagal. She's my friend's daughter ofcourse.It turned out to be a surprise party for John as well, father of the celebrant. Happy Birthday John!!!

Been busy for the past weeks... I'll just updates some recent happenings and events here

October 30th (Kurdt's Bday)

The 3 of us (Nicko, me and the little boy), had a joyride somewhere in Bulacan as part of Kurdt's bday celeb. As a gift to our son, we treat him for a swim since we knew how he loved it. The problem is.. we dont have a place that we knew or any reservations made beforehand. So we end up driving all over theplace after we exited in Sta rita Bulacan. We got an information that 8 waves is a nice place located San Rafel Bulacan wherein we need to exit in Sta Rita. The usual,we lost. So we decided to stop by in any resort or in the first resort that we will pass through. Hayyy it was fun but stressful!!! hehehe Bad, we didn't bring any camera with us.The resort is cool but it is not the resort that im thinking for that trip ;)


All Saint's Day


Had a schedule at work on this day, November 1st. But ofcourse, we already had a plan to visit my mum afterwards. We offer flowers and respect to a very special mom that I knew. Kurdt still not aware of it, but i know she's always there for us, watching us silently (as they always says). Love you Ma. We missed you a lot!


All Soul's Day


Since still a holiday, we went to Market Market with the whole family (nicko's side). Kurdt enjoyed watching the fountain. He even shout and scream everytime he see water coming up ;)

First Haircut


Kurdt had his first haircut last Sunday, November 11 2007. I was asked by my mum in law that she will bring our kid to Tita Baby and have his haircut before we go home to valenzuela. Then I said "yes" without askingmy husband's approval. Here's the little boy after a fee minutes:

Happy B-Day Kurdt!!!

We had Kurdt's Bday celebration last October 28th, 2007 that was held in McDonalds E. Rodriguez Branch. Instead of the real date which is the 30th. We thought that most of our friends could join and celebrate Kurdt's special day with us during weekend. So bad of us, we came late on the venue... We had a Grand Entrance indeed! hahahaha

Funny thing is there are lots of kids in the party but im guessing, adults enjoyed the party the most! Here are some pictures taken:

So nice to see my college Da-Barkads gathered in one place...in one table. For soo many years, we haven't had the chance to be in one place. Hope this bday of our kid will take all those pieces of hatred and misunderstandings vanished. This group deserves a 2nd chance.

It's time for Trick of Treat!!!!

Last friday, October 26th, there was a trick or treat in our office for li'l kids to enjoy. Soo many kids gathered with their cute, funny and scarry costumes. So bad that i did't have the time to take pictures of those kids roaming around our station. Kurdt and the rest of the kids enjoyed the Puppet show prepared by the HR/event organizer. We also have our pumpkin baskets filled with candies and goodies. It was a long and tiring day for mum and kurdt.

Finally, i got a costume for Kurdt the day before the Trick or Treat. It was so hard to decide coz i really dont want super heroes for my kid nor for him to wear vampire suit or pumpkin dress. There are costumes that i loved but sizes doesn't fit him at all :(

Glorietta Mall Blast

It was a horrible friday noon happened in Glorietta mall. A bomb blast at exactly 1:40 PM (as they say). During this time, Kurdt and I is already preparing our stuff to meet my mum in law in Megamall. I received a phonecall and text message as well from Nicko telling me about the incident in Glorietta that i wasn't aware of. At first, i didn't put much attention into it as he said that it was a Gas leackage in one of the resto. So i though that less casualties and damages happened. The husband keeps on asking me if we will still be going to the mall with Kurdt. I said yes, not realizing how dangerous it is going with our lil kid (still thinking it was just a gas leackage).

Then late afternoon when Nicko confirmed that it was a C4 bomb planted that caused deaths and casualties in Glorietta. We are already in the mall with our son. I just prayed that nothing will happen to us. He picked us up after his working hours. We bought what we need for Kurdt's bday but still no holloween costume yet for the Trick or Treat next week ;(

Then a day after of the Glorietta Blast, i just saw the casualties in the television and how bad the gorietta was after the explosion. The damage is a shock! What i was thinking during that time??!! Maybe we are present in Glorietta that afternoon if Megamall is not on SALE. I loved the stores located in Glorietta 2. If im not mistaken, G2 second floor is where the baby stuff stores are located that i usually visit after working hours or when we had a visit in the mall. Big & Small,Spin,Orange Juice, Enfant, Chicco, Ginger Snaps, K.O.B, Baby Guess and so on are all in the Glorietta 2, 2nd floor. OMG!!!

So sad that there are people who could plant those bombs that they knew civillians will suffer ;( How could they do those acts?

Hope Kids like my son can still play in any place they would want to safely....

Routines without Kurdt

I missed my little boy soo much.. We have no choice but to bring our kid to his Lola's place and stay there for a week since we have no yaya (for this week). Nicko and I are both working so we can't attend into him as much as we wanted to. The "yaya" wont come for this week as someone in her family passed away ;( haaayyy

Our day starts at 4:30 AM. Husband and I needs to wake up and prepare for work. Travel time: more thatn 30 mins as we travel all the way from Valenzuela going to Makati. We dont want to wake our son up as early as 4:30 AM just to bring him in Sampaloc and fetch him after working hours to bring him home with us. So tiring and stressful idea as it is. hehe So better sacrifice and have the little boy stay with his Lola (guess for his own good) for a week (sana)...

Since we dont have a kid waiting for us at home... Nicko and I got the time to settle our groceries and have some walk in the mall to look for a holloween costume for our son. We will have our trick or treat here in the office on October 31st (wednesday) and i planned to bring my son to have some goodies. So sad that we cant find one in his size yet. The costumes that we loved mostly available for toddlers age 2-3 yrs old. Im still hoping that i could get 1 for him one of these days. Also, im starting to look for a gift and something that he could wear on in his b-day. Am i excited?? hihihi

I already asked my friends to come in my son's bday. So sad that most of the ninangs and ninong here in the office can't come with their different reasons that i cant accept ofcourse hahaha (bitter)... bahala kau!

I had the time to be with my friends after shift. This isn't hapen all the time coz' im always thinking of Kurdt, waiting for us. We usually get home at 10PM after we dropped by in Sampaloc to see our son and play with him even for an hour (atleast).

Anyway, hope we could get a permanent yaya for him. It was soo hard that we dont have our kid beside us sleeping. Missed him badly ;(

Kurdt's First Racing Car

As a pre-gift for Kurdt's bday... His dad bought a Gokart car for him. He loved it. Since we noticed how fond of him in cars, we thought of giving him one that we knew he will appreciate much even in his age. We just let him rode on it and he never let us go home with out buying it. He cried harder when we tried carrying him off the car. Here's a picture of him:

He's more into playing in his age, he dont pay attention yet to TV's with cartoons playing. But when he heard his fave commercials rolling, he will stop for a sec, dance a little, then continue in what he's doing.

Brent's 3rd B-day

I remember posting an EK celebration for Brent's bday in here... Since the day is not good and rain may come anytime of the day, we decided to visit Tiendesitas in Ortigas and have the kids play in Barn Yard. There are rides, Mascots roaming around the place and Activity center available for kids. The place was designed real for young age and young at heart (hehe). The stores nearby only sells toys and li'l clothes ofcourse for babies and kids.

We end up with our fab Seafood Dinner in Seaside, Pasig. happy 3rd bday Kuya Brent!!!! We are now heading to Kurdt's 1st year blowout. We are preparin' for a not that super grand bash bday celebration but we hope to make our kid enjoyed his day.

Nowadays, he's really trying to keep himself awake during our visit to malls. Then at the end of the day, find him fall asleep in my arms.

Post Overdues

I almost forgot how to blog. Been in soo much trouble for the past month. Tied up with so much work at night. Been thinking with the requested transfer that is beeing prolonged by "someone" which i do not understand the given "reasons". Car's in big trouble, but good to know that "he's back on the road again. Thanks for the help of "the whole family". Been thinking for the fast approaching bday of our boy. i will just give update in here what happen for the past month to us and ofcourse to our son, Kurdt.

It has been agreed that our lil boy will just celebrate his day to Mc Donald's E.Rodriguez, instead of having a huge party that we already have in mind for the past months. Because of the so-called "trouble" happened, we need to tighten up our budget and think of someways on how to make that day very special to our son. Anyone reading this: YOU'RE INVITED!!!! we will just send the invites very soon...

My brother's son, Andrei Jean Gabriel, was baptized last September 15th. That day didn't start very well because of floods and heavy rains. Don't wanna talked much of this in here, i will just write a new entry maybe if got the time. Here's a pic of the little gabs:

Then after a week, September 22nd, is my brother's departure going to Qatar. So sad thinking that he will come back after 2 long years ;(

Driving Skill

We are seeing Kurdt's potential in driving... Dont you think he got that from his father? hmmm... i dont know, i dont even want my son to drive a car in a very young age. After college.. Maybe

He loves cars. He used to grab his Kuya Brent's toy cars. Then sometimes he's very eager to get into the steering wheel while his dad's driving.

Last Saturday, we brought our kid to TRINOMA. We look around and let him play in a "toy car". He loved it..

Babies Day Out

Last Friday, August 24, the very lovable (ewww) Mike Biaco invited us in his condo. He asked us to come over, cook pasta for him and swim. So we planned to bring our kiddos with us since that would be the first swim of tammy and i know our kurdt really loved swiming.

Tammy (1 yr, 2 months) , Kurdt (10 month old) and AD (2 yrs old girl) are with us... We called it babie's Dayout for them.. hehe

It was a disaster having 3 kids in 1 small room. Kurdt shout, then the other one cried while AD is trying to interview Paul with his alienated language hahaha... Ang kulit!

We had fun but the boys (Paul and Mike) didn't. hahaha. They would like to have another dayout or nightout without the babies hehehe
