Driving Skill

We are seeing Kurdt's potential in driving... Dont you think he got that from his father? hmmm... i dont know, i dont even want my son to drive a car in a very young age. After college.. Maybe

He loves cars. He used to grab his Kuya Brent's toy cars. Then sometimes he's very eager to get into the steering wheel while his dad's driving.

Last Saturday, we brought our kid to TRINOMA. We look around and let him play in a "toy car". He loved it..

Seriously driving his wheel

Babies Day Out

Last Friday, August 24, the very lovable (ewww) Mike Biaco invited us in his condo. He asked us to come over, cook pasta for him and swim. So we planned to bring our kiddos with us since that would be the first swim of tammy and i know our kurdt really loved swiming.
Tammy (1 yr, 2 months) , Kurdt (10 month old) and AD (2 yrs old girl) are with us... We called it babie's Dayout for them.. hehe

Here's the first video of Kurdt kissing Tammy... So naughty...

It was a disaster having 3 kids in 1 small room. Kurdt shout, then the other one cried while AD is trying to interview Paul with his alienated language hahaha... Ang kulit!

We had fun but the boys (Paul and Mike) didn't. hahaha. They would like to have another dayout or nightout without the babies hehehe

Stand.. Kurdt.. Stand

Now i could say that my son could stand in his own and it adds to his "kakulitan" mode. He swing from one cabinet to another. He grab everything that he could reach. He pull anything that he wants. To sumarize it all, our room is a a big mess! great!

Sometimes, he even forget that he can't stand still in his own (not yet) when he tried to carry his toy with the use of his two hands. Then he'll fall down. Sometimes he cried, sometimes not. I just let him do what he wants... this time. As long as he's conf'table and safe :)

Time to Sleep.. Time for Playing...

I had sleepless nights for the past few days now... Kurdt wants to try every activity that he learned. He wants to play, crawl to every corner of our room, stand up (in his own) in every cabinet that we have. If he's in the playmode, you can't stop him for doing what he wants. the problem is, you also can't sleep and let him do those tricks in his own. Accidents might happen though you make sure everything is in place for his safety.

Like last night, he woke up around 2 AM. Asked for his milk then play for almost 2 hours. Actually, i just need to look at him while he plays, when he's tired and sleepy, he will just lie down and go to sleep in any position that he wants. I have my shift starts at 5 AM. I wasn't able to come in the first half of my shift coz' my head is achin', wasn't had a complete rest becuase of my son who would like to play at the middle of the night.. when everybody's fast as sleep...

Haaayy how will a 9 month old understand that at night is a time for sleeping and day time is for him to play.. All through out the day if he wanted.

Anyhow, i know, he's now in the stage of exploring things! All i need to do is to support him and make things or place safer for him....

Btw, August 15 is the day we saw him the FIRST time he stand in his own. Congratulations baby! mwah

Kurdt @ Nine

Our lil' Kurdt is 9 month old now turning 10 by the end of this month... Now he could:

  • Seat in his own. You could just leave him alone in his crib sitting

  • He could seat from lying down. He loved to do this and dont want to lie down for long

  • He crawl so fast and very much active to explore things.

  • He's still trying to stand in his own

  • He hold his bottle independently. Just give the bottle to him and he will just put it in his mouth.

  • He shout & scream a lot.

  • He stop everytime he hears the commercial "kering keri" hahaha

  • He loves to tap the table. After a few minutes of letting him do that, his hand turned red

  • He roam around the bed before going to sleep at night. We even extend our bed for more space for him explore. Soobrang likot!

  • He eat anything... khit tissue! hehehe so we need to keep our eyes on him.
  • He loves to eat banana, rice, bread, fish, carrots, potato (fries), soup.. Anything!!!.

  • He already know his name. Just call him and he will go near you. Especially if you will give him food

  • He stop eating cerelac. He like something to grind and use his teeth for eating.

  • He grab anything that he could reach. Especially when he's in his walker.

  • He could say tata (tita), ya (kuya), mama en papa ofcourse

  • We couldn't take good pictures of him.. why? maligalig, malikot at maharot.. say it! and that is our Kurdt

  • He loves to swim. He even move his hand and feet the right way as if someone taught him to do it that way.

  • He still smile when he woke up and you greet him "good morning kurdt"
  • He still sleep all through out the night. He could stay in bed for more than 10 hours at night.

  • Lastly, he cried to anyone who left him at home. Especially me and my husband.

  • But, he smile when we came home and see us. As if he missed you that much.
So much for now, i will just update the list for more.

Here's a picture of kurdt standing in his crib.

My Little Bratt

Im supposed to join my friends in their team outing yesterday, August 11. But unfortunately, my li'l kid showed his tantrums and never let me go. He started cryin' and don't want to go with anybody even with his "mommy la." He don't want to sleep, dont want to play, he even ignore his milk. All he want is to be carried by me and his papa. But when he feels that im preparin' my stuff, he will cried very hard and seems that he can't breath at all... and that made me worry. I'm beginning to see a big bratt boy. tsk

We, my husband and i, decided that i will not go and bring my stuff back. Though i felt so bad co'z im ready to go out and swim for the night, yet i will need to pamper my boy to make him stop cryin'.

We ended bringing our son to MOA. He slept in my arms on our way to the Mall, thinking peacefully that he's with his mom and dad. He's back in his own playful mode. Trying to talk (though it was so hard to understand still), eat whatever food we gave him. In other words, he's happy to get what he wanted..

So bad Li'l boy! Shown his first tantrums... tsk tsk tsk
